About me
I love animals. I mean, I REALLY love animals- to me they are family. I offer professional, private, one-on-one, pet transportation as well as in home pet sitting and pet nanny services. Whether you prefer to have your pet arrive by plane or by car, I know how to travel with an animal and how to keep them safe!
My background is in social work and I left a career working with individuals with disabilities to focus on what I love even more - animals!
I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have done dog sitting and dog walking for decades (yes, I am in my 50's!) I am certified in animal CPR and First Aid and am USDA certified to transport. I have been background checked and fingerprinted several times in order to work for the State of Florida as a welfare eligibility officer and multiple times in my previous career working with people with disabilities. My "new" career does not necessarily require I have these credentials but can bring a certain peace of mind to my clients as they wave us goodbye! I have not received a traffic violation in over 30 years and operate with a clean driving record which I am happy to provide you and or your insurance company.
I regularly update my knowledge base on dog intelligence and behavior and approach with an open mind and heart while striving to build strong and meaningful relationships not only with my own dogs, but with each of my charges as well!
My love for animals has dictated my passions for as long as I can remember (again - for decades:;) It was not easy to make a career out of following my passion until Covid found me furloughed from my job and gave me time and space to realign my purpose and here I am, finally doing what I TRULY love!
